Sportsnet, a television broadcasting channel owned by the Rogers Cable Network is now home to the new “Hockey Night in Canada’ television show. On Hockey Night in Canada you get to see all of your favorite highlights, hear about all of the latest hockey news and join in as the anchors have some fun around the studio. Well this new studio cost $4.5 Million to create and it’s the largest studio to date for the television show.
You will notice that the design of this new set resembles the likes of a hockey stadium. The roof over the anchors is designed as a stadium roof while the floors resemble ice on the rink. Surrounding the entire set is a large amount of flat screen TV’s so that users can see highlights and other video clips in the background. There is an array of new hosts as well in this new version of Hockey Night in Canada, this meant that the table where the anchors sit at had to be increased in size. This is what started the increase in the sets size, the end result is an amazing set that beats all of its previous predecessors.
Hockey Night in Canada is held every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. You will be able to view the hockey program by going to the Sportsnet channel, if you don’t have this channel as of right now you will be able to get it by calling Rogers and ordering the channel.
